Mica the gargoyle and his kestrel friends Kitty and Mouse are characters I designed for a future children's book project. The kestrels made a nest on Mica while he was asleep and he has sworn to protect them and their chicks-to-be. The friendship of Mica and the birds was inspired by urban birds nesting on human structures.
